Jim Jonas is a veteran communication strategist who crafts and manages effective corporate, nonprofit, public affairs and political messaging projects. He is currently the vice president of marketing and communications at Rose Community Foundation and is an associate at High Frontier Productions, a digital marketing firm based in Washington, DC. He previously served as director of marketing and communications at the University of Colorado Foundation in Boulder, Colorado. From 2000 - 2010 he was a partner at Peak Creative Media, a Denver-based creative services and advertising company that he co-founded and helped grow into one of the largest creative agencies in Colorado. He has designed, written and produced award-winning multimedia advertising and communication projects for Fortune 500 companies, high-profile nonprofit organizations and national political candidates and causes for 25 years. His past political clients include Bush-Quayle '92, Alexander for President '96, the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee and numerous winning campaigns for the US Senate, US House of Representatives, gubernatorial and local offices. Recent public affairs clients include Onsight Public Affairs, the Gill Foundation, Foundations for Colorado's Future and Coloradans for Sensible Solutions. He's been active in political election reform efforts including co-founding and serving as CEO of Unity '08. He was the start-up communications consultant and on the Advisory Board for Americans Elect, a national voting access project that worked to put a competitive centrist presidential ticket on the ballot in 2012.
